Teaching With Technology

This area of research stems from my interest in innovative pedagogical approaches.

Over the past ten years, I have initiated a series of research projects investigating the impacts of experimental pedagogical approaches on student learning.  In recent years I have also explored the ethical dimensions of conducting in-class research with students. This research explores the position of institutional research ethics committees as well as key ethical issues such as the use of class time to conduct research and the use of student work as a data source.
